Calling all grillmasters, bakers, chefs, and cooks!  Whether you’re a family legend or aspiring restaurateur, here’s your opportunity to share your secrets in the 2021 edition of the Roberts Recipe Collection.

 Here’s a short history lesson:

  • Volume 1 was published in 2005 with 377 recipes.
  • In 2008, Volume 2 was released with another 298 recipes.
  • In both instances, the cookbooks were printed as hardcover books and sold as fundraisers for the Reunion fund.

And now, after a 13-year hiatus, we think it would be fun to gather recipes from a whole new generation of Roberts.

This project will not only create  Volume 3 of the cookbook, efforts are already underway to load all 675 recipes from Volumes 1 & 2 to an online cookbook at www.familycookbookproject.com .

 Here’s the plan:

  • Step 1:  From now until June 30th, please share your favorite recipes for inclusion in Volume 3.  There are 2 ways to have your recipes included:
    • Input your recipes directly to the website.  This option allows you to insure your recipe is correct, add personal comments, and even include photos of the recipe card or finished dish.  To gain Contributor access to the website, just let Craig know via text or email.
      • OR
    • Send your recipes to us at:  ejrobertsreunion@gmail.com
  • Step 2:  The entire Roberts Recipe Collection, all 3 volumes will be available online thru the website or an app.  In exchange for online access, we are asking for a $25 donation to the Reunion fund.
  • Step 3:  During the Reunion we will gauge interest in printing Volume 3 to allow everyone to complete their hardcover recipe book collection.  The price of the hardcover cookbook is in addition to online access and dependent upon number of cookbooks printed.

In order to truly make Volume 3 a family project, we hope to receive at least 1 recipe from each of our 66 households.  The ultimate goal is to get 325+ recipes to give us over 1,000 recipes in the collection!

Besides the benefit of moving the recipes online, Volume 3 gives us a chance to update our recipes with current trends like Instant Pot, Keto, BBQ, and Gluten-Free.  We look forward to your contributions.
